Christopher Brennan, Regional Director - NSW

A motivated and disciplined self-starter, Christopher brings a high level of energy, enthusiasm and drive to every role, complemented by a pro-active approach and an acute commercial acumen. 

With 20 years' of international experience in a variety of both customer facing and managerial positions, Christopher is the consummate finance professional.  A qualified chartered accountant and chartered secretary, seasoned investment banker and respected finance manager he has been integral to the financial management of businesses and origination of numerous transactions across a wide range of clients, industries, asset classes and geographic locations (including the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the US). 

In the past few years Christopher has been providing independent financial advisory, financial management and company secretarial services for a number of SME clients, operating in industries such as financial and professional services, logistics, construction and property development, oil and gas exploration, manufacturing and engineering.  His areas of expertise include:

• preparing businesses for listing (IPO) or trade sale;
• evaluating investment opportunities, including cash flow modelling and due diligence of potential mergers and acquisitions;
• directing and controlling the financial and administrative operations to ensure timely, accurate and efficient financial systems, processes and reporting;
• advising on restructuring and turnaround strategies for underperforming businesses;
• building relationships with, and between, the stakeholders of the business;
• managing the preparation and lodgement of regulatory returns and statutory compliance requirements;
• providing quality financial, commercial and operational input to business strategy and initiatives; and
• arranging debt facilities with financiers and raising additional capital.
